Art. 50(4)—Deepfake Disclosure

Deployers of AI systems generating or manipulating image, audio or video content constituting a deep fake shall disclose that the content has been artificially generated or manipulated. Deployers of AI systems that generate or manipulate text published to inform the public on matters of public interest shall also disclose that the text was artificially generated or manipulated. Exempt for law enforcement and clearly artistic, creative, satirical, or fictional works.
