DoD Components use their approved CI/CD pipelines to develop most new applications. Any exceptions will follow a standardized approval process to be allowed to develop in a legacy fashion. DevSecOps processes are also used to develop all new applications and update existing applications. Continual validation functions are integrated into the CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes and integrated with existing applications.
